the word is petty
Well in the field they were fighting over a petty issue of passing the ball to me , to me etc.like that for 5 mins straight and kevin was bored so to end this issue, he said i will pass the ball, you better see where i am going to get the pass and shoot the ball. he knew that if he did not say, that petty issue would gone over 15 mins and bored him right there.
